Why Harry Corry curtain linings are different

Our readymade curtain linings are an excellent option if you need to reduce light during the day in the likes of nurseries for naptime or anyone who would need the bedroom dark after working a night shift. We have our own brand collection of blackout lining for readymade eyelet curtains, which are mostly 3-Pass curtain linings. That means they are coated 3 times to give optimal blackout performance. Other retailers usually offer the equivalent of 2 coats, so you’re getting more protection against light pollution.

Knowing when you need to buy curtain linings

You need curtain linings to do two things really well. Firstly, they need to help regulate temperature throughout the year, so not just a case of keeping a room warm in winter but also helping air flow to help cool a room down in the summer. Secondarily, you would be looking for lining if you already have good curtain but still have issues with light pollution. We often find that if you have curtains where you're annoyed lighting still peaks through the side early in the morning, and your curtain seems to be covering enough, a lining is the way to do.
